Residential Living

Every individual deserves a safe, welcoming place to call home, a space that reflects their individuality and fosters independence, connection, and joy. At Richmond Residential Services, Inc. (RRSI), our residential programs are designed around each person’s goals, strengths, and dreams. Whether in a group home or an apartment, we provide the right supports so each individual can thrive.

Group Homes: A Place That Feels Like Home

At RRSI, our group homes are more than places to live. They are true homes built on belonging, safety, and personal connection. Each home provides 24-hour support while honoring the individuality of every resident we serve.

Individuals have private bedrooms, decorated to reflect their personality and preferences, and shared spaces filled with warmth and community. Our Direct Support Professionals and Case Managers create a supportive environment where each resident’s preferences guide daily life, with support that adapts to individual needs and goals.

Our team assists with personal care, medication administration, and health monitoring while encouraging independence through daily activities. Residents help plan meals, choose activities, and contribute to home life, building confidence and purpose.

To support an active lifestyle, RRSI maintains a fleet of vehicles so every home has reliable transportation. Whether it is a medical appointment, a community outing, or cheering on the Flying Squirrels, individuals are never limited in pursuing the things that bring them joy. Families often share that knowing their loved one is not just safe but thriving brings them true peace of mind.

“It’s not just about keeping people safe — it’s about helping them thrive. I love seeing residents choose activities that matter to them and knowing we helped make that possible.”
